about the artist

Hi, my name is Dr. Monica Discolo.
I am an artist, photographer, writer, event planner, and researcher.
I am from the Tampa Bay, Florida area but I grew up in Boston, Massachusetts.
I enjoy painting with acrylics, drawing with charcoal, using my carpentry skills, and using mixed media. I am always up to trying new mediums.
I have lots of pets who I love so much, two of them are pictured (Jack & Theo). 
I have my PhD in Human and Social Services.
I have a Master's in Criminal Justice, and another in Human and Social Services.
I have a Bachelor's in Human Development with a minor in Visual Art. 

I earned a Harvard University certificate in Rhetoric.
I have experience working with the homeless, elderly, special needs, and foster children.
I also have experience in event planning and in the medical field.
I am always learning new skills and trying new things.
I specialize in custom designs and have served many high-end clients.
